We have had so many firsts with Zane since we have been home. He is a really big tease, and his favorite person to tease is definitely Jaedon. It isn't always fun and games with Zane though. He is very stubborn. If he doesn't want to do something, or want you to do something, he will totally give you the cold shoulder; turn his head, and hide in the corner.
We had our first sickness this past week. Mattie came home from school sick on Friday, and by Sunday, Zane and I both had it. It is funny how each child is so different in how they like to be comforted when sick. Mattie is definitely a "hold me 'till I am all better." Jaedon is bring me a pillow, put me on a movie, and I'll call ya when I need you. Zane we learned is, put me in my crib and leave me alone. No joke. He would wake up, I would get him up to change him, feed him, then he would throw a fit until I put him back in his crib. Then he would just lay there totally content and fall in and out of sleep. Another thing, he sleeps with one eye partly open. We are pretty much on the mend, Zane is back to teasing all of us. He loves to be outside. 
I have to say that is going so much better than I thought it would. Some things are hard. Zane does not like to be hugged or cuddle at all. The only one he will really hug is Jaedon. And he is probably the one that is most indifferent to it. Mattie wants so bad to just squeeze him.
Last week my neighbors threw a baby shower for Zane and I. I was worried to go without Troy. But since there was a ton of food; Zane did great. We have great friends and neighbors; Zane scored the jackpot. I mentioned that he didn't like his baths, so he got a ton of bath toys. He now comes a running when he hears the water running.

Aww, thanks Ally! I've been really thinking about you guys and wondering how the transition was going. Sorry to hear that you guys were sick, but it sounds like you've recovered nicely. It is wonderful to see the pics of everyone together!!
It is so good to see the pics and that you are all doing better. Zane looks so cute in his sweater with Jaedon. We want to come down sometime soon when the weather will allow it and all of the sickness.
The Jaedon and Zane pic is very sweet. I'm glad to hear you are all adjusting. I know Zane will come around look at his bath time now..Congratulations on your beautiful new addition.
