Go Gators!

The gators definitely have spirit. The reason we came to Florida was to attend the graduation ceremony for Troy. It was really neat ~ at least the first hour. Two and a half hours after Troy's name was called, it was official that he was Dr. Troy McQuivey ~ and a member of the Gator nation. Dr. McQuivey's first order of business was to was to find out that during his ceremony his wife had called his Doctor to get a prescription for him. Then he had to listen to his wife order him how to take his antibiotic & Tylenol for some ailment he had been battling for the week.

His friend, and fellow alumni graduate from the University of Utah, Mike did the Doctorate program with him. It was fun to have all of us there. Gainesville is definitely a college town ~ and you can imagine how crazy the town was on graduation weekend. We were anxious to get out of there and head up to our next destination for some relaxation (well as much as you can with 3 kids).

Hi Troy and Ally, cousin Angie here. I stumbled upon your blog and am so glad to find it, and the links to Keri and Chris as well. We all need to stay in touch better!

Way to go Troy! Sometime I will have to get the story on how the graduation is in Florida - grandma said he was coming up to the U for classes? Anyway, what a great place to have a graduation, and I'm glad you could get a fun trip out of it!

I have just loved reading over your blog and especially your adoption experience with Zane. While we haven't adopted ourselves, it's close to our hearts, and I've loved reading about your experience!

We're actually in Southern Utah right now - I will have to call you sometime while I'm down here. Our blog is www.louisianagardners.blogspot.com and you are welcome to take a look. I have links to all my siblings as well.

I'll be here for 3 weeks, and will definitely give you a call sometime!
