Spring Break - Otherwise known as Spring Break the Bank Week - took our family to California! We decided to not tell our kids we were going anywhere. They kept saying we were so boring and we never do anything. I kept up the act until the night before when I was to tired to pack for them. Probably should have packed for them - Jaedon ran out of underwear and Mattie ran out of clothes. Luckily we could shop. Mattie won - she got new outfits, Jaedon got new briefs!
The San Diego Zoo was great - we all felt right at home.
Jaedon and Mattie loved the ocean - Zane not so much. He really hates the water. He still hates his baths! Jaedon & Mattie thought it was great to get all the sea weed. They wanted to take it all home, but settled on taking some sand.
The day we were heading out, we had one last surprise for the kids. Mattie and Jaedon's paradise - Lego Land. They really do love legos - so they loved it there. I loved that Zane was tall enough to ride almost all the rides. He is a little adverture boy. He wanted to go on everything and would tell Mattie that it really wasn't that scarry.
Loved Spring Break - even if it takes us awhile to recover!
