Only 58 weeks ago, we were heartbroken. An adoption had failed - but it really succeeded. After we got home, I threw (and I really mean threw) the baby bag, clothes, bassinet, carseat, bottles, formula, etc all in boxes and in the closet and under the bed. I didn't want to deal with it. When the call came for Zeke, I opened that closet (which was scary) and found the box under the bed and realized how prepared we really were. I threw (with a different attitude than before) the clothes in the washer, put the bassinet together, pulled the carseat out to take with us and 12 hours later we were on a plane. It was not a failed adoption, it was successful. It led us to Zeke. Without it, we never would have dared to pursue another one.
He seriously is the sweetest baby! I don't know why we are so blessed to have four awesome kids!

He is so beautiful! It's amazing how you seem to pull yourself out of the disappointing times. I look back and I can't believe we were going to give up. Babies are so precious and bring so much joy. We can't wait to meet Zeke!
Oh I am in love with your cute little Zeke! He's so handsome!! I love that you wrote about your adversity really turning into your blessing. Sometimes we forget that heavenly father is blessing us, just not in the way that WE plan. i have a hard time learning that lesson all the time :) Ally, you have such a beautiful, wonderful family! Okay this is what I needed, he is just an amazing little boy. Enjoy him as much as you can, as you can see, they grow so fast now.
He is such a cute baby. I have seen you at the school on occasion, but not with Zeke. Maybe I'll see both of you at the next choir concert. I love seeing Jaedon & Mattie at school! They are growing up:)
