The Longest Month Ever!
On May 2nd, we got a phone call from our Korean adoption agency, and they told us that they could have a referral for us any day. We called our Taiwan agency, and they told us that we were still 30-60 days out for a referral. For some reason, we feel really good about Taiwan, and decided to give it another month. Our Korean agency put us on hold. That night, Laura from our Taiwan agency called to say that she thought they had assigned a baby for our family. We have been waiting to see which baby they assigned to us...and here he is. His name is Hsin Yi Lin. He was born August 10, 2006. He is at St. Lucy's orphanage, Tainan, Taiwan.

Congratulations on your referral! He's such a cutie! We're a month or two (or three or four) away from a referral with the same agency. Seeing cutie referral photos from St. Lucy's keeps me going!
