We made it. It was a crazy day. We landed in LA just fine. But our flight to San Francisco was delayed. At first just for 30 minutes, then 1 hour. We only had an hour layover, so it wasn't looking good. We had no options. They told us that we had to go to San Francisco since our luggage was going there. They told us they would put is up in a room over night. We were resolved that we wouldn't make it to Taipei until Saturday night their time. But when we landed in San Francisco, we checked the boards and it said delayed on our flight. We ran. Ever watched the amazing race...we looked just like them. When we got to our gate (the very last one in the concourse) they said the pilot held the plane for us. They shut the doors behind us and off the plane went.
When we got here, we had a message to check in with United. All of our bags but one made it. Zane's is missing. They hope to have it here by Sunday! If there was one bag to not be here yet, that one is ok. It just has his clothes in it. And I can always shop for more!
Our hotel is great. And we had a nice package waiting for us from Judy! Thanks so much. Mom, you would love the fresh flowers in our room. The best part, they have a crib all set up for Zane. They upgraded us to a suite...so it is really nice and roomy.
We smell bad, feel lousy, but oh so glad to be here.

What a long day, but I was glad to hear you made it. Hope you get some sleep, and you can adjust to the time difference. It took me most of the week to get that down. Good Luck!

I can't believe you guys are finally there! After everything that has happened along this amazing journey it is only appropriate I guess that the last stage be a "race"! LOL! I can't wait to see and hear more about Zane and your visit to SLC. I'll be watching your blog anxiously. Counting down the HOURS now!!!

Yeah!!! We are so very glad you made it and didn't have to miss your flights. We'll be checking in everday! I cannot wait to see you all with Zane and then back home together as a family of 5 :)

Well, I am so glad that you made it okay. I called the kids this a.m. and talked to Jaedon, he sounds great, M&M was at a bd party. Try to relax and have a good time as reality will be back before you know it. Mom
