Aunt Keri is the master!
I took Jaedon, Mattie, and Zane up North for a quick weekend trip by myself. I was worried about Zane traveling in the car...he was a breeze. Jaedon and Mattie were another story. I heard that they needed a bathroom break about every 30 miles and Mattie crying "I'm hungry" never ended...even as she was eating. Zane just looked out the window and smiled the whole time. He only got fussy once on the way up, and once on the way back. The easy distance to Troy's parents usually takes us around 3 1/2 hours - but this trip took me almost 5. Having to haul all three kids out for bathroom breaks really adds up the time. On the way back, my fuel gage broke. It kept plummeting to empty and doing that annoying "ding" to alert you. The last 100 miles, I heard it "ding" about 100 times. It is in the shop to be fixed today! I think I will insist on Troy coming on all road trips in the future.

That's why we ALWAYS have a port-a-potty in the back of our car. I can't tell you how many times it has come in handy. Once even for the grown-up in the car! ;) ;)
